well as most of you may know by now i am back to work full time. the job is going well and it feels good to be active again. Due to this however the time i am able to dedicate to wow, and keeping this website updated has been drastically reduced. I am finding myself just looking for time to play let alone trying to post any news here. so if anyone is interested in keeping the raid news and such going by all means let me know. No prior knowledge is needed as the posting process is very simple and i can walk you through it easily. Anyone interested just shoot me a mail in game and i can add your permisions, and walk you through any questions you may have. Just wanna say thanks to everyone who i have been playing so much with lately, and if anyone ever needs anything just let me know

Well we downed the same things this week as last. Still having struggles with deathbringer Saurfang. People really need to come prepared to raid mentally as well as doing a little research outside of raid to figure out how they could be doing things better. If anyone needs help with improving their game by all means send me a tell or mail in game with what you want to know and i will find it. I am sure the same goes for the officers... we all just want to help. Good job to everyone, and lets improve next week.

On a side note i am working on getting stat logs up for our raids on the web so everyone can look at a detailed breakdown of boss fights. I think i have it all figured out so tuesday's raid should be up for everyone to look at. You will be able to find it at World of Logs

edit 12/15/09: We raided for the first time on a monday in a very long time so good job to everyone for showing up. We spent all night on Deathbringer Saurfang and got really close a couple times. Looking forward to this coming raiding week we will have 3 more bosses worth of loot to bring to the encounter so lets all cross our fingers for those good drops. Everyone needs to make sure they are prepared to go into saurfang again this week, and get him down. Bring your A game because we had some pretty silly mistakes last night that could have easily been prevented. All in all it was a good night, and if it would have been just that little bit better we would have gotten it. Thanks to everyone who showed up, and i will see you all tonight.

edit 12/11/09: last night ended up being very productive. We began the night in toc, and cleared that in short order. Afterward we went back to icecrown and downed gunship battle and got some good attempts in on Saurfang. We would like to continue if possible on monday night so everyone please click on the link below to let us know if you can make it or not. Good job everyone and hopefully we can clear the first wing before reset.

edit 12/10/09:Last night we got a kill on Lady Deathwhisper right towards the end of the night. We pretty much got a full night in on her and seemed to progress every attempt. It is a very busy fight with a lot of different things going on at once, and i would like to commend everyone for buckling down and doing their jobs. Looking forward to tonight we have the gunship battle, and Deathbringer Saurfang. Seeing as how it is our last raid night of the week it would be nice to down both of them so we can maximize loot and emblems for everyone for the week. Same as yesterday lets make sure we know what to expect by looking at videos and strats. Again good job everyone and lets give em hell tonight.

edit 12/9/09: We downed marrowgar last night after some issues with peoples characters and getting a late start. Lady Deathwhisper will be first up on the agenda tonight so watch the video below, and read the strat found here. In addition here is last nights loot

Finally the new patch has dropped, and with it comes the new icecrown raid. Hopefully if server stability is worked out we will have a shot to go in tonight and give the new bosses hell.

It will be very benificial if everyone in the raid group has seen what these fights look like so they know what to expect as the strategy's are explained, and they will know what to look for. I noticed a site in the motd when i was on last night and i was going to link it here.... however since we can't get into servers right now i have found some ptr videos of the first 4 fights in the icecrown that we will be able to do. Do not consider these videos our strategy, or how things will be broken down. As a matter of fact since these are ptr videos they might not be totally accurate, however they do give us an opportunity to see fight mechanics eg. fires, boss movement, damage sources, ect. The videos will help everyone see what is coming.

In addition to watching the videos everyone should read the strategy for the fights to understand what they are watching in the videos. I found the strategies at this site useful.

Besides learning the fights ahead of time, everyone should know any important class changes that will affect the way their class plays, and bring all consumables necessary to raid. As we are getting back into new content having proper buffs (food, flasks, potions, ect.) will be very important to our success. Just in case there is any class questions i will link the new patch notes below. Finally make sure any addons that you are using are up to date if they are released yet. See you all tonight

Started out the night on heroic 25 attempts. Good job everyone for improving our game on beasts. We got icehowl down to 12% with about 4 people dead, so lets focus on everyone staying alive and we got it.

After a brief break we decided to down a couple bosses in reg 25. Nothing special there. We killed beasts and jaraxxus then decided to save the rest for the other raid nights this week.

We finished out the night in voa 25 since we had wintergrasp... obviously little trouble there. Notably we had Reins of the Grand Black War Mammoth drop yet again (3rd time in a guild run). Grats to Gokui for winning it. Overall good job tonight see you all tomorrow
